About the Committee on the Constitution, Rules of Procedure, Ethics and Immunity

This Committee reviews constitutional matters, the Rules of Procedure, ethics, privileges and immunity relating to Members of the House. It supports the proper application of parliamentary rules and contributes to strengthening institutional integrity, accountability and good governance.

Mandate and Responsibilities

The Committee examines and reviews constitutional provisions, the Rules of Procedure, and matters relating to ethics, privileges and immunity of Members. It considers proposed amendments and makes recommendations to the House in accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure.
