This Committee deals with matters relating to justice, religious affairs and endowments. It supports the House in reviewing legislation, policies and public matters within its mandate and contributes to strengthening justice, the rule of law and the proper administration of religious and endowment affairs.

Mandate and Responsibilities

The Committee reviews bills, policies and matters relating to justice, the judiciary, religious affairs and endowments. It conducts parliamentary oversight within its areas of responsibility, considers matters referred to it by the House, and submits reports and recommendations in accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure.
