About the Committee on Public Works, Reconstruction and Transport

This Committee deals with matters relating to public works, reconstruction, roads, transport and public infrastructure. It supports the House in reviewing legislation, policies, plans and public programmes aimed at improving infrastructure, mobility and public services across Southwest State.

Mandate and Responsibilities

The Committee reviews bills, policies, plans and projects relating to public works, reconstruction, roads, transport and infrastructure development. It conducts parliamentary oversight within its areas of responsibility, considers matters referred to it by the House, and submits reports and recommendations in accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure.
