Baidoa, 18 June 2026: The Speaker of the House of Representatives and Acting President of the Southwest State of Somalia, Dr. Mahad Mohamed Sh. Hassan, appointed Hassan Mohamed Gudow as Director of Protocol of the House of Representatives.
The appointment reflects the Speaker’s commitment to ensuring the effective functioning of the House and strengthening the coordination of protocol affairs for the Parliamentary Leadership.
Hassan Mohamed Gudow has previously held various public service positions within the Southwest State Government. In his new role, he will oversee and coordinate protocol affairs for the Parliamentary Leadership and the House of Representatives.
