Baidoa, 4 July 2026: The Parliamentary Leadership of the House of Representatives of the Southwest State of Somalia attended a working meeting at which the Organising Committee presented a progress report on preparations for the inauguration of President Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madoobe.
The Committee briefed the leadership on the procedures and arrangements developed for the ceremony, as well as its coordination with other government institutions.
The meeting, chaired by the President, reviewed arrangements for receiving the visiting leaders and diplomats invited to attend the inauguration ceremony.
Following the meeting, the President and the Parliamentary Leadership inspected the facilities designated to accommodate visiting leaders and other guests. They urged the Organising Committee to intensify its efforts and fully implement the agreed plans to ensure that the inauguration ceremony is conducted to the highest standard.
