Baidoa, 20 June 2026: The Speaker of the House of Representatives and Acting President of the Southwest State of Somalia, Dr. Mahad Mohamed Sh. Hassan, officially launched the National Secondary School Certificate Examination for Grade 12 students.
A total of 7,584 students across the Southwest State sat for the examination at 29 centres located in 10 districts.
Dr. Mahad encouraged the students to remain focused throughout the examination and to observe all examination procedures and national education regulations.
The Acting President wished the students outstanding results and expressed his hope that they would secure leading positions in the national examination being conducted across the country.
