About the Committee on Internal Affairs, Security and Reconciliation

This Committee deals with matters relating to internal affairs, security, local administration and reconciliation. It supports the House in reviewing legislation, policies and public programmes aimed at strengthening public safety, institutional stability and peaceful coexistence across Southwest State.

Mandate and Responsibilities

The Committee reviews bills, policies and public matters relating to internal affairs, security, local administration and reconciliation. It conducts parliamentary oversight within its areas of responsibility, considers matters referred to it by the House, and submits reports and recommendations in accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure.
